Elder Duties & Rotas

Following the Union and the formation of Bowden & Melrose Parish the site has altered to show the Elders' Duties for both the service at Bowden Kirk at 9.30 am and the service at Melrose at 11.00 am. At the Bowden services there are two elders on duty and a further elder acts as beadle. At the 11.00 am service there are 2 elders along with 2 others congregational members on door and collection duty. Elders and congregational members unable to undertake their duty on the date allocated are personally responsible for arranging a substitute. In addition there are a number of other rotas to assist with the smooth running of the congregation and these are all detailed below, simply click on the rota to see the appropriate list.
